Why does each Letter cost 10€? +

It's a flat price for anywhere in the world. Shipping alone would cost more or less depending on distance, carrier, and customs. I wanted one simple price so it's fair no matter where you live.

What does the Querencia Letter ritual actually involve? +

At Querencia, that's what we call the moment you find your Letter in your mailbox and decide to open it. I'd suggest doing it somewhere you feel alone with yourself, or surrounded by people in a café where you can shut out the outside noise and focus on you. To work through it you just need to read each piece and be willing to write — bring a pen and your own notebook, and make it yours: a scrapbook, a personal journal, whatever fits you. Journaling is part of the ritual — writing down what you're living and reflecting on it, regularly, is how you sort your thoughts, work through your emotions, and get to know yourself better.

How is the Querencia Letter different from just buying the book? +

What happens if my Letter doesn't arrive? +

If more than 12 weeks have passed since the shipping notice and it still hasn't arrived, write to me and we'll find a solution together. It's out of my hands, but I do take responsibility for sorting it out with you.

Can I change my address after I've left it? +

Yes, as long as you write to me before your Letter leaves my desk. Once it's shipped, I can no longer redirect it.

Is there any recurring payment? +

Who's behind Querencia Letters

I'm Sandra. Right now I'm doing a Master's in AI & Innovation, and for the past 12 years I've been designing learning experiences around soft skills like leadership, communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, and emotional management, among others. I'm also a migrant, a mom, and a woman in tech.

I live glued to screens most of the day. And maybe that's exactly why, at some point, the texture of paper, a wax seal, something that takes weeks to arrive, started catching my attention in a way I didn't expect.

Querencia Letters came from something pretty simple: the more I learned about AI, the more I realized the value of what's human. Taking the time to sit with my own thoughts, enjoying my presence through a letter, enjoying my own writing, wherever I happen to be.
